WRI Presents: July’s 3rd Thursday Street Fest!

VISIT THE MERCHANTS!

We know that Willimantic’s 3rd Thursday Street Fest has a whole lot of fun things to offer …. like food and music and shopping and spending time with friends but we’d like to encourage you to take some time to visit Willimantic’s downtown merchants, too. Stop in at The Bench Shop, Willimantic Records (below Rajean’s), The Skate Shop, Local Music, LLC, Swift Waters Artistans’ Cooperative, Kerri Art Studio and Gallery and don’t forget our friends at the Lily Pad (on North Street).

Sounds like a lot to do in one night, right? Come back on the weekend and mix up your shopping with eating. Willimantic’s downtown restaurateurs have something for every palate. Have breakfast at ‘Nita’s or Thread City Diner, lunch at Garo’s, Pan del Sinai, City Side Deli, or Gyro’s (a new addition to the downtown scene), have dinner at Fred’s House of Blues and BBQ, the Harp on Church, or Willimantic Brewing Company and then top it all of with something sweet at A Cupcake For Later. Last, but certainly not least, a visit to Cafemantic is in order to help you keep up your energy.
