WindhamARTS, the region’s State-designated Local Arts Agency, hosts a “pop-up” gallery, Friday, August 24th from 6-9PM. Works will be shown and for sale by Eastern Connecticut Artists & Members of WindhamARTS.
The exhibit and reception will be held at the historic Little River Grange on Hampton’s tree-lined Main Street. “Renovated with a STEAP grant beginning in 2006 with extraordinary community participation, the Community Center is the perfect place for a community art show and gathering,” states WindhamARTs director, Mary Oliver. Located at 178 Main Street in Hampton, parking is available at both the Community Center and adjacent Town Hall.
“We are excited to host this and other monthly events in each of our area communities.” continued Oliver. “Our next event is September 28th at the Elks, our Fall Flamingo Fling—a festive fundraising auction and get-together for artists and community.”
