Interested in writing your own play or one act? Perhaps you are already in the process of writing one but need a little direction or want to refine it for publication or performance. Windham Theatre Guild is launching a Playwriting Group in 2018!
The group is designed to inspire your most potent theatrical work! Each meeting will include writing exercises, icebreakers, tutorials and the sharing of your work to be read aloud by your peers. Healthy feedback will be given with the goal of invigorating your writing. No experience necessary! One goal of the group is to create one act pieces for an annual showcase to be produced by WTG actors and directors.
Our first meeting will be Wednesday, January 3rd at 7pm, at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic, CT.
