Andover, CT, February 1, 2016 – Over AndOver to host a Crafter Open House Series to benefit local charities and highlight their crafters…
‘Pay it Forward’ from Thursday, February 2nd to Saturday, February 11th by bringing in a toiletry item to the store to donate to Covenant to Care for Children. The first 30 people to donate will receive a FRAngels Random Acts of Kindness Charm! Suggested hygiene items include shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, feminine care products, paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.
Have you always wondered what a chakra is? You have 7 of them! Stop by the ‘Valentine GEMboree’ on Saturday, February 11th in between 12-3pm to culminate the collection drive by discovering the heart of chakra healing, gemstone powers and pendulum intuition.
The open house will feature Cathy Haugh, the founder and designer of SiS Designs; spiritually inspired jewelry and gifts, including their new FRAngels line promoting healing to those in need. Cathy will be available to answer questions about these restorative practices to all who stop in with open hearts and minds. This special occasion was inspired by the quote, “Kindness is not meant to be just a thought, it’s meant to be shared in thousands of random ways.” – Dr. Keesha Ewers.
“Many of the families we serve do not have dollars in their earning budget to cover costs associated with hygiene and cleaning products.” -Cathy Haugh, as the Regional Coordinator for the ‘Adopt a Social Worker Program’ of Covenant to Care for Children. “This drive will enable the parents we serve to keep their children healthier and more confident.” The social workers will be distributing the hygiene items to local families throughout Wyndham County, CT.
