Willimantic, CT – María Teresa Fernández (Mariposa), an award-winning poet, will present at Eastern Connecticut State University’s University Hour Series from 3-4 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the Student Center Theatre. The public is invited. Admission is free.
Fernández’s work has been featured in numerous journals and anthologies as well as the HBO Latino series, “Habla Ya!”; the critically-acclaimed HBO documentary, “Americanos: Latino Life in the U.S.”; Black Entertainment Television (BET); Lifetime; and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
