You have an opportunity to be heard on this important matter as the State begins receiving comments on its Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (a.k.a. SCORP), a requirement for Connecticut to receive funding through the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The authors of the SCORP need to hear from you that trails are important to outdoor recreation, public health, community vitality, connecting people to the land, and many other reasons that are personal to you.
