Path Academy Windham Accepting Student Applications for Fall

Path Academy Windham, a state charter school, is now accepting students for its inaugural school year coming this fall. Located in Windham, Path Academy will work with over-age, under-credited students to help them find the success in high school they could not find in a traditional setting.The application is on the school’s website, http://windhampathacademy.org/application/. Applications are available in both English and Spanish, with Word or PDF formats to best accommodate potential applicants. Path Academy Windham will accept applications from April 14 to May 2, 2014. Completed applications can be emailed to BLafreniere@WindhamPathAcademy.org or printed and mailed to: Path Academy Windham — 832-842 Main Street — Willimantic, CT 06226

For the 2014-15 school year, Path Academy will enroll up to 125 students that are in grades 9R-12, where 9R students are 9thcapacity at 200 students. An estimated 75% of students enrolled will be Windham/Willimantic residents.Path Academy’s Principal, Brooke Lafreniere, has been working with the Greater Windham community to create partnerships with organizations and school districts to attract students. “We are excited to re-engage students in their educational journey in pursuit of their high school diploma.
