CCT-Tourism is excited to report a number of national media leads that the state’s PR agency secured last week, many of which are in partnership with you.
• The New York Times interviewed Diana McCain, Head of the Research Center at the Connecticut Historical Society for a story on how travelers can go about organizing their trips around “roots travel,” as well as how they can find sources linking them to family members and/or their ancestry.
• The Travel Channel is posting an online photo gallery featuring top waterparks and will include our very own Quassy and a photo of their new Splash Away Bay.
• CNN Travel is considering photos of Hammonasset Beach State Park for their upcoming photo gallery on the country’s most interesting beaches, and
• The team is working with Travel + Leisure on a piece about historic covered bridges in the U.S., featuring West Cornwall Bridge.
These stories will be running in the coming weeks and we look forward to sharing them with you!
