Meet at US Button parking lot

Beautify & clean up Putnam! Arrive between 8-8:15 am, pick an area, get out and clean it up! Bags, gloves, lunch and prizes provided.

Webster & Dudley Cleanup 

Saturday, May 6, 8 am – 1 pm 

350 Main St., Webster, MA

Meet at Webster Town Hall

You’ll be assigned area to clean. Refreshments and a concert after the cleanup!

Adventure – Pond & Field Discoveries at the Fish Hatchery

Sunday, May 21, 1 – 2:30 pm

Meet at the parking area at the Quinebaug Valley Fish Hatchery, 141 Trout Hatchery Rd., Central Village (Plainfield), CT

Tour the fish hatchery building, learn what happens here & where the trout go!Walk the trails to the pond, looking for turtles, frogs & tadpoles! Bring your fishing pole and barbless hooks!

Please join us for the 2017 Annual Membership Meeting of The Last Green Valley, Inc. We’ll start with a behind-

the-scenes tour of Hull Forest Products’ modern sawmill & lumber manufacturing facility, then we’ll head to the Windham County 4-H Outdoor Center for a cash bar reception, dinner, and meeting.

First, paddle the Shetucket River National Recreation Water Trail with Bill and Lois on Sunday, June 4, from  1 – 4 pm from Sprague to Taftville.

Then, join us at Red McKeon Park in Occum on Monday, June 5 at 11 am for a Celebration of the Shetucket River National Recreation Water Trail Designation.

Exciting New Donation Opportunities

Supporting The Last Green Valley is easy! We have two new ways you can support our work: 

Marty’s of Dudley has offered to recycle cans and bottles and donate the proceeds to The Last Green Valley. Bring your sorted cans and bottles to Marty’s, located at 119 West Main St. Dudley, MA, between 9:30 am -5:45 pm, Monday – Saturday, and let the staff know you are returning  them for The Last Green Valley. Marty’s will log them in and send us a check!
