Local Businesses Reach Out with Free Wifi, Charging Stations & Storage
Logistics Consulting, Mansfield Self Storage & The Windham Chamber of Commerce are opening their doors to help those affected by Hurricane Irene by offering free internet access and use of their facilities.
Logistics Consulting– located at 361 Boston Post Rd in North Windham, across from Walmart is offering use of their facility to those in need of internet during this time of crisis. They have many computers set-up at their facility for Chamber members & those in need who can come in and use these computers to pay bills, send emails etc. Anyone with a laptop can come in to use the internet & charge their batteries. In addition, people will be able to charge their cellphones if they need to as well. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm & Sat 12pm-4pm. If extended hours are needed after 6pm or any other time please call Logistics at 860.942.8522 to set up an appointment.
Mansfield Self & RV Storage is offering 30 days Free Self Storage or RV Storage to new tenants whom are victims of Hurricane Irene and live in the immediate surrounding area. In addition MSS is offering their facility as a charging station. If you or someone you know needs to charge cell phones or laptops please come in during normal office hours Monday through Friday 10-5 and Saturday 9-3. The Windham Chamber- located at 1010 Main Street, Willimantic is also offering use of their facility to those in need of internet. They have a few computers for those that do not have laptops & also will allow for laptop battery charging & cellphone charging. The Chamber’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or by appointment.
