The Hebron Historical Society is sponsoring its 28th annual Quilt show during the Hebron Maple Festival, March 18 & 19, 2017. We look forward to displaying your work!
The show is always well attended and eagerly anticipated. Attendance is good both days, especially in nice weather.
Last year we added a new quilt display rack. This allowed us to display quilts without folding them. For the past 2 years, we have held a Viewer’s Choice contest. This generated greater interest in the quilts and added an element of enthusiasm that was infectious. In addition, we noticed several children completed and submitted quilts. We plan an additional vote for their quilts.
We invite you to submit quilted articles for sale. This feature was instituted a few years ago and seems to be catching on. Cash sales will be accepted. If you submit items for sale, we will consider them as consignment items and deduct 20% of the sale price from your proceeds.
We will also accept donated items for sale. HHS will give you a certificate confirming your donation.
Please use the included forms when you bring your items. Please let us know if you plan to submit quilts for display as soon as possible at the email address below.
Quilts and sales items can be brought to the Old Town Hall on
Thursday March 16, 2017 from 10-6pm.
If you are unable to bring your quilt to us, please contact Mary-Ellen Gonci mergonci65@comcast.net to make arrangements for pick up.
You can pick up quilts and unsold items March 19th from 4-6, or Monday March 20th from 3-6. Sales proceeds will be sent by check after the show.
The Hebron Historical Society appreciates your interest in its efforts to preserve Hebron’s past and welcomes your support for this, our biggest fundraiser.
Thank you,
Mary-Ellen Gonci
