Kolin Ebron, a 2012 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University’s Health and Physical Education program recently completed his master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Ebron successfully defended his master’s thesis in August, 2014, which was titled, “Increased Body Mass Index is Associated with Low Grade Inflammation Atherogenic Dyslipidemia, Insulin Resistance and Low Grade Inflammation in Individuals with Metabolic Syndrome.”
“I am very grateful to Eastern for helping me achieving this goal,” said Ebron. “Eastern gave me the academic foundation as well as the work ethic and drive to pursue my dreams. I am proud to be an Eastern alumnus and will carry this legacy with me wherever my future plans may take me.”
