Once a year business leaders converge on the Capital to meet and discuss issues with state legislators. This is our opportunity to talk with them and express our concerns about the issues they will be voting on in the coming months. The Chamber of Commerce, Windham Region will be attending and will have both Roger Adams and Diane Nadeau meeting with the group and with individual legislators on specific issues.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy will be the featured speaker at Connecticut Business Day, Wednesday, March 6, at the Legislative Office Building (next to the State Capitol) in Hartford.  The program begins with registration and networking from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.  The program is scheduled to conclude at 11:45 a.m.

Hear Gov. Malloy talk about his plans to strengthen Connecticut’s economy and solve our fiscal challenges. Join hundreds of business leaders for this most important day for business at the Capitol.  After the Governor’s remarks there will be a panel of legislative leaders who will discuss fiscal policy.  After the legislative leaders panel, there will be three breakout sessions:

•         CT Manufacturing: Talk with members of the legislature’s new Manufacturing Caucus about proposals that could impact Connecticut’s manufacturers

•         CT Tourism: Explore with industry leaders the economic impact and potential of tourism in Connecticut

•         Meet and Greet: Spend time with your local state Senate and House members

Help our elected officials understand what it will take to make your member’s businesses, their employees, and our economy stronger and more competitive!
