Meeting with Eastern Representatives
On Friday, October 15th the Windham Chamber facilitated a meeting between Contractor Chamber Members & Eastern Representatives in hopes to match needed services with valuable resources.
Contractors met with Nancy Tinker & four other department heads at Eastern to discuss all the different services each could offer each other.
Our contractors spoke about the different services they could offer Eastern on projects & emergency services. Eastern speakers told the contractors what various services they typically contract out for. Any jobs that cost less then $10,000 can be submitted via and quote and do not require going through the State of Connecticut to bid on.
Since Eastern supports hiring and using local resources it was discovered that they are already using the services of many Contractor Chamber Members.
