Credit Union Has Distributed Over $530k in the Last Two Years Through Member Appreciation Program
While many financial institutions rolled out higher fees over the past year, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union is doing just the opposite. Rewarding over 2,700 Credit Union members with a $100 cash bonus, Charter Oak has distributed over $270,000 to its members just in time for the holidays.
Part of Charter Oak FCU’s Gold Rewards Program, which features special perks for Credit Union members who maintain important account relationships, the $270,000 cash bonus is the largest payout Charter Oak has made since the Program was launched in September 2010. Bringing the total of cash payouts to over $530k, the recent bonus paid to members is in addition to the hundreds of thousands of dollars the Credit Union gives back annually to members in special rates, returned ATM fees and other benefits. To add to this year’s excitement, Charter Oak will also be rewarding Gold Rewards members with a special polo shirt.
According to Charter Oak Federal Credit Union CEO Brian Orenstein, “Our Gold Rewards Program sets us apart from our competitors. Our members love the $100 annual bonus and we are happy to reward members who bring their relationship to Charter Oak.”
