Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has promoted four employees, including two new vice presidents in its accounting and mortgage departments.
The credit union announced that Patricia Michaud was named Vice President in its Accounting Department and Deborah Snajczuk was named Vice President in its Mortgage Department. In addition, Charter Oak promoted Tammi Darby to Assistant Vice President in its Training Department and Kimberly Bryant to Manager of its Human Resources Department.
“These employees total more than 70 years of Charter Oak loyalty and experience,” said Brian Orenstein, Charter Oak’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are truly fortunate to work with such professionals,” he said. “These promotions will further strengthen our accounting and mortgage operations and add additional expertise to our training and human resources departments,” said Orenstein.
Patricia Michaud, a Westerly resident, began her career with Charter Oak in 1986. She was named Manager in 2002 and promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2005. She is a graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., with a degree in business and is also a graduate of the CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Management School in Madison, Wis.
Deborah Snajczuk has been with Charter Oak since 2001 and was named Manager of its Norwich office in 2003. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2005 and transferred into the Mortgage Department in 2010. Ms. Snajczuk, who lives in East Haddam, is a graduate of the CUNA Management School.
Tammi Darby began her career at Charter Oak in 1986 and was named Manager of its Long Hill Road branch in 1999. During her career, she also has managed Charter Oak’s Norwich and Dayville branches. Ms. Darby, who is a Ledyard resident, was named Manager of the Training Department in 2007.
Kimberly Bryant started with Charter Oak in 2002 and became a Training Specialist in 2005. She was promoted to Benefits Administrator in 2007. Ms. Bryant, a Lisbon resident, is a graduate of Rhode Island College in Providence with a degree in Communications.
