State lawmakers vote this week on a 2017 budget plan that closes a near $1 billion deficit with no tax hikes, cuts spending by $830 million, and leaves the state’s Rainy Day Fund untouched.
Tell them to approve the no-tax-hike budget.
Fiscal discipline is needed now, as we face even more crippling budget deficits after 2017.
