Windham BNI, Business Networking International, will be hosting a Visitor’s Day on Thursday, October 24th at 7:00 am at the Chaplin Firehouse, located at 106 Phoenixville Rd. The event is free to the public and open to all local business owners, entrepreneurs, and sales professionals looking to grow their businesses.
Windham BNI was founded in 1993 and is celebrating 20 years of networking and business growth. Founded with the philosophy of “givers gain,” the group has a goal of developing a professional and exclusive referral network for its members. Unlike civic organizations, BNI offers membership to only one business or professional in each category. The Windham chapter currently has 30 members and is looking to grow its membership. In the last year, the Windham chapter passed more than $1 million in closed business. BNI is a great way for businesses to experience growth by maximizing their marketing efforts through word of mouth.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to market their business or services. Each is encouraged to bring at least 50 business cards, as well as brochures or flyers for networking. Visitors are also asked to present a brief 30-second “commercial” about their business or services to the group. The event will start promptly at 7:00 am. For more information, please visit Windham BNI on Facebook or call chapter president Jilian Chase of Ashley, Scarborough, & Pierce Appraisal Services at (860) 649-2737.
