Climb the Ladder to a Better Future, a job training and placement assistance program at Access Community Action Agency, is hosting a Job Fair on Thursday, April 24, 2014. The Job Fair will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gold Eagle Banquet Hall, 8 Tracy Road in Dayville. The following is a list of some of the employers participating:

Climb the Ladder is a new program that can empower people to find the job or training needed to support their families. The program works with individuals that have had a difficult time finding employment. The employment manager determines each client’s employment needs and provides job placement assistance and one-on-one job counseling. “We advise everyone to come dressed as though it is an interview and bring resumes”, says Elizabeth Smith, Employment Manager for the Climb the Ladder Program. The Access Community Action Agency is the federal and state designated anti-poverty agency for Windham and Tolland Counties.
