Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society based around education that has been at Eastern Connecticut State University since 1943. On Nov. 2, Eastern chapter, Epsilon Nu, inducted 27 new members.
Kappa Delta Pi prides itself on the scholarly merit of its members in addition to their stark professionalism. Since aspiring for a degree in education is one of the society’s requirements, most of the undergraduates in the society are double majors with rigorous schedules. Despite all of this, the students in the society maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and find time to get involved in the community.
Speakers at the ceremony included the Dean of the School of Education and Professional Studies Jacob Easley, Provost Rhona Free and chapter counselor and Education Professor Ann Anderberg in addition to members of the Epsilon Nu chapter.
