100 Overnight Travel Packages & Deals Needed
Connecticut’s still revolutionary advertising campaign is now running in NY, NJ, CT, RI and MA using TV, online, magazines, out-of-home and – coming this Sunday – a freestanding newspaper insert will drop in close to 1 million households in the tri-state area. Visitor traffic to CTvisit.com continues to increase with consumers looking for more overnight travel packages and multiple-day getaway ideas.
We encourage you to post your packages and discounts for the summer travel season now and take advantage of the State’s advertising and public relations efforts already in the marketplace. We need 100 more Travel Deals to deliver well-rounded offerings for family fun, R&R, active adventures, arts & culture and history experiences. The next Connecticut Tourism eNewsletter, distributed to more than 500,000 opt-in subscribers in early June, will also feature packages selected from CTvisit.com. Last month’s eNewsletter featured The Marriott Stamford Hotel & Spa, The Heritage Hotel and Saybrook Point Inn & Spa as “Travel Deals of the Month” at no cost to the properties.
Accommodation and attraction partners are encouraged to submit Travel Deals online through the CTvisit.com Partner CMS system. Contact Jean Hebert, jean.hebert@ct.gov, 860-256-2739, or Rob Damroth, robert.damroth@ct.gov, 860-256-2749 if you need help getting started. Please remember that Travel Deals are overnight packages with lodging and other elements (e.g. admissions, meals) or discounted offers. If an event organizer wants an event (e.g. fairs, festivals) posted on CTvisit.com, please contact Jean Hebert directly.
